Docsfox Plugin

The Docsfox plugin, docsfox.py, is a plain text, Python 2.7 code file designed for use within Notepad++. You add it to the Notepad++ menu: Plugins / Python Script / New Script.

Use Docsfox by pasting your Docsfox template text into Notepad++. Next choose: Plugins / Python Script / Scripts

Notepad++

Notepad++ is a popular, free, open source text editor for Microsoft Windows. We chose to design Docsfox for use with Notepad++ for these reasons:

• Security - To use Docsfox, you do not need to install Python on your computer, increasing its vulnerability.

• Simplicity - Notepad++ allows you to easily use templates along side any word processor on your PC or on the web.

• Trust - Notepad++ is widely used and trusted. Its open source code is available for inspection.
