LibreOffice

LibreOffice is a free, open source word processor compatible with Microsoft Office. You may use it along side Microsoft Word or any other document editor.

With LibreOffice Writer, you open normal MS Word files (.DOCX) for use with Docsfox.

Docsfox gives you the power to assemble Word documents in LibreOffice Writer customized for your clients.

You can continue to use MS Word for document editing. And use LibreOffice Writer with Docsfox for initially assembling documents.

You may use LibreOffice Calc, MS Excel, or any other spreadsheet program to fill in client data files.

  • Simplicity - LibreOffice allows you to easily use templates along side any word processor on your PC or on the web.

  • Trust - LibreOffice is widely used and trusted. Its open source code is available for inspection.

  • Security - No need to install Python software on your computer, increasing its vulnerability.

LibreOffice is available from their download page:

Notepad++

Notepad++ is a popular, free, open source text editor for Microsoft Windows. We chose to design Docsfox for use with Notepad++ for these reasons:

  • Simplicity - Notepad++ allows you to easily use templates along side any word processor on your PC or on the web.

  • Trust - Notepad++ is widely used and trusted. Its open source code is available for inspection.

  • Security - No need to install Python software on your computer, increasing its vulnerability.
